I've stumbled upon this site where writers (tv and film I guess) go for research. They ask questions and people answer. From surviving a car crash, to 1950s home prices to what is it like to be hospitalised on morphine, to what its like being mute etc

Lots of weird and interesting stories.

I'd never actually gone through the whole thing rather than just the selected highlights - added commentary and animations which range from amusing to slightly less amusing than the narrator thinks they are but still alright - well worth 20 minutes or so.

And yes, it's done on the restored copy which has funky colours

This is a normal post The original song was featured on the soundtrack for the film "Amélie".
I enjoy the film, but I can see why some people say it's a little twee. The soundtrack is very good either way* and that particular tune is "Comptine d'un Autre Ete - l'Apres-Midi". My own favourite is "La Noyee"

My only complaint about the soundtrack is that it didn't include the catchy tune that the erotic dancer performs to. (Alex Gopher - "The Child")

Mr Robinson, who runs a DVD review website, had posted a rambling video of himself demonstrating a bizarre device he called a Bat'leth to YouTube shortly before the incident in which he was shot in the leg by police. Sources close to the police have also confirmed that he was arrested before he could fire a shot. Greater Manchester police later tweeted a statement in which they described the suspects conditional as 'stable' and revealed that the 47 year old male had 'regretfully soiled himself' during the arrest. Police are at the hospital hoping to interview him as soon as doctors say he is well enough. However, a source at the hospital later claimed that Robinson was 'sitting up in bed watching the Police Academy DVD boxset and eating ice cream'. The police did not respond to questions on this matter.

I was in Southport last year, actually.

I developed a penis injury - due to an over-zealous blow job from my girlfriend the night before - so I had to go to A&E.

I quite liked the town although it seemed a bit optimistic to glamorise the coastline as anything other than miles of mud.

I'd prefer Southport to Stockport which I also visited and remember as Mancunian urban sprawl, brightened up only by the possibility that one of the local bad drivers might be Dom.

This is a normal post I'll have you know we have several attractions in Stockport of interest to visitors,
including: one of the largest brick-built structures in the world, Stockport Viaduct; an extensive network of tunnels used as air-raid shelters in WWII; and a hat museum.
